Thayer County Economic Development Alliance Welcomes New Team Member

Paige Hansen of Deshler joined the Thayer County Economic Development Alliance team as a community coordinator this January. She will be in the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday as a part time employee. Paige graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in December with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science and a minor in Leadership and Communications.  

Paige is a Thayer County native as she graduated from Deshler High school in 2019. She was involved in lots of activities growing up from showing cattle to being in Deshler’s school musical. This summer she married her high school sweetheart Grant Hansen, and they currently live in Deshler. Paige has three younger sisters, two of which attend Deshler High School and the other the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. 

Over the past two summers Paige has worked as a hometown intern with the Nebraska Community Foundation and Deshler Community Fund. “Through this internship program I was introduced to the world of economic development and fell in love with the people and programs Thayer County is lucky to have!” she says. In her free time, Paige serves as a member of the Deshler Community Fund, enjoys working on the farm with her husband, and loves game nights with her family.
