DED Opens Applications for Second Round of Funding under 2022 Rural Workforce Housing Fund Program

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) is now accepting second round applications for the 2022 Rural Workforce Housing Fund (RWHF) program year. A Letter of Intent will be due by October 19, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. CT. The last day to submit an application will be Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. CT.
2022 RWHF awards from the first application round were announced May 11, 2023. A total of $22,805,000 was awarded to 27 organizations of the approximately $29,555,112 available. The Department is initiating a second application round for the 2022 program year cycle for the remaining amount of approximately $6,750,112.
